Real News, Inc. started in Madison, Alabama, in 2004, serving
schools in Northern Alabama with an 8-page newspaper called
Real News for Real Kids.
Publishers Carol and Charles Hale wanted to create a kid-friendly newspaper connecting children to their world, nation, state, and community. The newspaper spread rapidly around the area.
In 2005, the Denver Newspaper Agency started using Real News
tabs as a children’s section in The Denver Post on a weekly basis.
The Denver Newspaper Agency won the highest honors in the
nation for their comprehensive News-in-Education program.
We are proud they use our work.

Our goal is to serve students all over the world with news stories
that will inspire them with today’s role models. We feel that it is
a child’s right to understand the issues of the day, without all
the negative details.
Beginning this spring, we began to offer our news stories online
directly
reaching teachers in their classrooms. At the same time,
we
hope to offer newspapers and other media outlets an opportunity
to partner with us in print or online.
Real News, Inc. is a non-profit 501C3 company.
Starting in the spring of 2007, our news stories will be available
online and can be published in print for a small fee.
